Born From One Mother’s Search Built for Every Family.
When Dr. Ralu Onubogu’s son was diagnosed with autism, she searched for a place where he could simply be accepted. A place where he could play, grow, make friends, and belong. A place where her family wouldn’t have to explain or fear being judged. She couldn’t find that place. So she created it.
Today, Sensory Island is a welcoming community where children of all abilities can play, grow, and thrive, and where every family feels seen, supported, and like they truly belong.
